Sweetwater Energy, Inc., a Rochester-based renewable energy company, is moving into its new location at 500 Lee Road, in Rochester, NY.
The new headquarters will house offices for Sweetwater’s 12 current employees with room for significant expansion, as well as industrial space for Sweetwater’s laboratory and for its pilot and demo facilities, currently under construction.

Mr. Doenges, who has worked in government affairs and throughout the downstream biofuels industry—including marketing, logistics, and sales—will lead Sweetwater’s marketing efforts as well as manage the company’s government relations. He currently resides in Austin, Texas.
Sweetwater Energy, Inc., a Rochester-based renewable energy company, announced today it has named company Board Chairman Arunas Chesonis as Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Chesonis joins Sweetwater with 27 years of technology experience. Most recently, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PAETEC Holding Corp., a Fortune 1000 telecommunications company acquired this month by Windstream Corp. (NASDAQ: WIN), one of the largest national telecom carriers. Mr. Chesonis founded PAETEC in 1998.
